Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how this app (a mobile life-simulation game) collects, uses, and protects information when you use it. It separates your real account information from the fictional in-game character data you create while playing.

Information we collect

• Account data: your email address (used as your login and for email verification and password reset) and your account role. If you add a display name to your profile, that is stored on your account.
• Saved game data: each “life” you create is saved to your account. This includes your fictional character’s name, pronouns, age, appearance choices, and AI-generated portrait, plus in-game state such as relationships, core stats, behavioral traits, stress and health, school and career progress, life history, dating interactions, educational “Reality Check” discoveries, delayed-consequence (“Ripple”) state, and Guide/tutorial progress. This is fictional game data about a simulated character, not real personal information about you.
• AI-generated content: character portraits (yours and other in-game characters) are produced by an AI image service from the appearance choices you make, and stored as file references within your save data.
• Authentication data: if you sign up with email, your email and password. If you use a social sign-in provider (Google, Facebook, or Apple), the basic profile information your chosen provider shares with us. Authentication tokens are stored on your device.
• Analytics & technical data: we may collect anonymous usage analytics (for example, which features you interact with) and standard technical data such as device type, browser, and IP address to operate and secure the service.

How we use your information

To operate the game, persist your saves across sessions, generate character portraits, authenticate you, send verification and password-reset emails, and improve and maintain the service. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

• Base44 — the platform that provides hosting, the database, authentication, and file storage for this app.
• Google, Facebook, and Apple — optional social sign-in providers. Each has its own privacy policy governing the data they share.
• AI image generation — provided through the Base44 platform’s image generation service and used only to create in-game character portraits.

Data storage and retention

Your data is stored on the Base44 cloud platform. Your account and saved game data are retained until you delete them — you can delete individual lives in-game at any time, or delete your entire account through the in-app Account Deletion feature. After account deletion, AI-generated portrait files may remain in platform storage as unreferenced files; they are no longer linked to your identity or account once removal is complete.

Security

We rely on the platform’s built-in security, including token-based authentication and per-user isolation of saved game data (other users cannot access your saves). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Your privacy rights

You can access and update your profile in the app, delete individual game saves, or delete your whole account and its data through Account Deletion. You can also sign out at any time.

Account deletion

You can permanently delete your account from the app’s Account settings. Deletion removes your account record and all of your saved game data. See the in-app Delete Account option for details on exactly what is removed.

Children’s privacy

This app is a coming-of-age simulation intended for users 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected data from a child under 13, please contact us and we will delete it.

Policy updates

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the most recent version.
